Peace Lutheran Church is a Part of the ELCA or Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. So what does that mean?

As Lutherans we believe in God, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We understand that we don’t understand everything, we don’t have all the answers but we love talking about the questions together.

We base our preaching and teaching on the Bible, and take it seriously, but not always literally.

We believe that we encounter God in a very real way in the sacraments of Baptism and Communion and that these are Gifts of God’s Grace that we are told to do by Christ in the Bible. We have an open table which means that all are welcome to share in communion during worship.

We believe that we do not and cannot save ourselves, but that we are saved through the grace and love of God. We respond to this gift by sharing God’s love in the world in our daily lives through service, gifts, and by living in fellowship with each other.
