Annual Trunk or Treat! Oct 22nd from 4pm-6pm
Every year Peace Lutheran has some spooky family fun with our annual Trunk or Treat!
This is FREE event, and kids and families are welcome to join us for games, hotdogs, and of course, lots of treats
Attend-
Dress to impress and bring your trick or treat pal to join all the fun! Simply pull in to the church, anytime between 4pm and 6pm. Enjoy games, hotdogs, and be sure to stop by at all the trunks to get your treats! Stay as long as you like. Donations are welcome, but this is a free event.
Here are a few guidelines for those attending
Attend as a family – while there are lots of adults around, you know the children in your life the best. Please stay with them to ensure everyone has a safe and fun time.
Please Walk – This is an exciting event, and we want everyone to have fun, but we encourage everyone to walk through out their time here.
Photos – Please feel free to take photos at this event, and tag Peace Lutheran if you post them to social media. We do ask that you respect the privacy of others by trying to be careful about who is in the background of your photos before you post them. Peace Lutheran Church may take photos of groups throughout this event to use in congregational publications and social media. Please let us know if you do NOT want your family to be included in this.
Be polite – This event is run by volunteers who love their community and love to serve! Please be kind to them.
Pets – we welcome pets at this event, but they must be properly leashed and supervised at all times.
Costumes – We LOVE the costumes at Peace, however as this is a family event, we ask that all costumes be family appropriate. Please refrain from costumes that are overly revealing or violent.
Safety – Please refrain from smoking, drinking, or using recreational drugs while at this event.

We can always use help at our community events! Here’s how you can get involved.
Set up a trunk – Dress up and hand out treats! Contact us or call our office at 989-732-1991 between 9am and 1pm Mon-Thur to sign up! Trunk setup starts at 3pm
Donate Supplies – We accept donations of closed bags of candy throughout the month of Oct to help with this event. You can drop off bags of candy at the church during office hours or on Sundays
Help with games or food – We are always looking for a few folks to help run games, serve food, and help with set up and take down. Please call the church office to help or sign up in our narthex on Sunday morning.
