If you would like to participate in the life and ministry of the church and find yourself unable to due to special needs or disability please come talk to us! We can’t promise a solution to every problem, but we can promise to listen, take you seriously, and do our best to remove barriers that keep people from participating at Peace Lutheran!

Communion at the Jail – Each month Peace Lutheran takes communion to the inmates at Otsego Country Jail. This simple service includes opportunities for prayer requests, Bible readings and reflections, and communion. ALL are welcome. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Pastor Megan so you can fill out the required paper work.

Communion at the Brook Nursing Home- Join us on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at the Brook for communion worship with the residents! We join for this 30-45 min service with prayers, traditional hymns, readings, and communion! ALL are welcome!

Mama Mingle July 13th

Carly Tryan is starting a new ministry reaching out to mothers in our area called Mama Mingle! The goal is to help parents find their “village” and provide support and friendship for families in the area. This event is on the 2nd Monday of each month from 4:30 to 6:00 pm. All Mothers Welcome!

Bonfire– Join us the third Wednesday of June 24th at 5pm for our monthly bonfire! Hotdogs, smore’s, music, and more! Please bring your own camp chair and drink!

Germany Trip

Join Pastor Megan at 11:30 on July 19th for a detailed look at the itinerary for our 2027 pilgrimage to Germany! Come to hear about this 12 day trip which will take us on a journey from Berlin to Munich as we explore what the reformation meant, and what it means to be a reforming church today. With stops highlighting German history, food, culture, and more, this trip has something for just about everyone. 

Trip dates will be April 6th-17th 2027. Please contact Pastor Megan for more details

Blood Drive at Peace
Peace Lutheran will be hosting a community blood drive with Versti on Friday July 24th from 11am-3:30pm! Blood donations save lives in Northern Michigan and each unit of blood can help up to three people! Sign up today to donate by clicking HERE or talk to Julie LaCombe for more information!
Pit Spitters Game July 26th

Join us at the Ball Park July 26th at 5pm! Tickets at $14 each. Sign up at the church by July 15th by signing up in the narthex or contacting the church office Mon – Thru 9am -1pm. 

50th Anniversary Celebration August 2nd
Save the date and plan to join us for worship and a special meal on August 2nd as Peace Lutheran Church celebrates 50 years of ministry in Gaylord!  Bishop Julie Schneider-Thomas will be here to preside over Worship Service, and after service we will begin our celebration.
