Giving and Donations
Why do we give?
We believe that God has given us all that we have, and entrusted us with these gifts to help share God’s love in the world. One of the ways we do that is by donating to the work of the church.
How can I give?
There are several ways you can give.

You can drop off a gift at our weekly worship services at 9:30am each Sunday. There is an offering plate on the table by the door.

Give Online-
It’s safe and easy to support our ministry with online giving. Simply fill out the form below.
Simply giving is a way to have your gifts given to the church each week or month directly from your bank. This is a safe way to make sure that the church gets your donation. Simply click on the heading Simply Giving to download a form, fill it out, and send it to the office it’s that easy. You can also call the office at 989-732-1991 to set up simply giving.
What do my gifts do?
Donations to the general fund- are used for the day to day ministry of the church. These are funds that pay our staff, pay for fellowship and educational events, buy the supplies we need for worship, and help keep our building warm and welcoming. This is one of the most important areas you can support. A portion of these gifts is also passed on by the church to our Synod and National Church body to help support the work we do together as the ELCA.
Special offerings for things like our monthly Hunger offering, LWR kits, ELCA disaster response, and more go directly to support those causes. 100% of funds donated to special offerings are sent to the causes they support. This includes our Fund of the Month
Fund of The Month – Each month Peace collects donations for a special non-profit of ministry in our community. These gifts support special ministries at the church such as our inmate ministry, camperships, and shipping health and school kits. They also support community non-profits such as Wellspring Lutheran Social Services, Toys for Tots, The Refuge Homeless Shelter, and more. FOM donations are collected in the blue box in our narthex or can be mailed to the church with a note in memo line.
The Building Fund– Gifts given to this fund help support special repairs for the physical church structure. These are often major repairs such as siding, plumbing, doors, appliances, etc.
Capital Campaign -Our Capital Campaign is a short term event designed to major repairs our building is in need of. So far this campaign has replaced our roof and parking lot. We plan to replace flooring and damaged windows throughout the church throughout the next two years.
Memorials– are gifts given in memory of a loved one or community member. These gifts are used for special ministries in the church and worship.

Annual Pledge Cards
Each year we invite people who participate in our ministry to prayerfully consider their giving to the church! This is a time to reflect on what it means to be generous and to consider how you can use the gifts God has entrusted to you to help keep telling the story of God’s love through our shared ministry at the church. You can pick up a pledge card in the office, or fill one out here.
